As humans started settling down and living in closer proximity, they needed to design homes that established areas that were theirs, while simultaneously still creating a comfortable space in their environment. This conflicting thought of enclosure and openness was grappled with in low-rise bungalows with their open verandas. These projects represent bungalows we’ve designed for suburban areas, that both enclose, and open up to the world around them.
